Six 'astronauts' are locked in a facility in Moscow to simulate a space journey to Mars - for 520 days (3 June 2010 - 5 November 2011).











The crew spend most of their time conducting tests, tending to the plants, and watching nature simulations (with sounds using headphones) to give them that refreshing Earthly feel now and again.
